By creating an account or accessing the Stoxim platform (including the REST API, dashboard, webhooks, and documentation), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (or the entity you represent) and Stoxim Technologies Pvt. Ltd.(“Stoxim,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
If you are using Stoxim on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable subscription fees, Stoxim grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Stoxim API for your internal business purposes.
This licence covers:
This licence does not permit redistribution, resale, or public disclosure of the raw data returned by the API, except as part of a substantially transformed, value-added product. See Section 3 for prohibited uses.
You may not use the Stoxim platform to:
All financial data served by the Stoxim API is sourced from XBRL filings submitted to BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange) by listed companies. Stoxim processes and normalises this data but does not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of the underlying filings.
The data is provided “as is.” Stoxim makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the data, including suitability for investment, credit, or regulatory decisions. The Stoxim API is an informational tool, not a source of financial advice or regulated investment research.
You are solely responsible for independently verifying any data before relying on it for commercial, investment, or regulatory purposes.
API usage is subject to rate limits determined by your subscription plan (requests per day). Rate limit status is communicated via the X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, and X-RateLimit-Reset response headers.
Requests that exceed your plan limit will receive an HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) response. Stoxim reserves the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate access — without prior notice — for usage patterns that are determined to be abusive, harmful to infrastructure stability, or in violation of these Terms, even if the absolute request count has not been exceeded.
Stoxim targets the following monthly uptime commitments:
| Plan | Uptime Target | Remedy |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 99.5% | None |
| Starter | 99.9% | Service credits |
| Pro | 99.9% | Service credits |
Service credits are the sole and exclusive remedy for downtime below the applicable SLA target. Credits are not redeemable for cash. Uptime calculations exclude: (a) scheduled maintenance windows communicated with at least 24 hours notice; (b) outages caused by third-party infrastructure (BSE/NSE data feeds, AWS, Neon, Upstash); (c) force majeure events.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and dashboard credentials. You must not share API keys across teams without using the appropriate key-management features, and must not embed API keys in publicly accessible code repositories.
If you believe an API key has been compromised, you must revoke it immediately from your dashboard and generate a replacement. Report suspected breaches to privacy@stoxim.in.
Stoxim is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your credentials where such use is attributable to your failure to maintain adequate security.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Stoxim platform — including the API infrastructure, data normalisation methodology, dashboard, documentation, trademarks, and the curated financial dataset — are and remain the exclusive property of Stoxim Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors.
You retain all intellectual property rights in the applications, products, and services you build on top of the Stoxim API, provided they comply with these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stoxim's aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or in connection with these Terms — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Stoxim in the three calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall Stoxim be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, even if Stoxim has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stoxim Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the API in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (c) any third-party claim arising from your application or product built on the Stoxim API.
